Family photo shoot in Iceland
The weather in Iceland is not the most friendly, often with gusts and sudden changes. A family session in these conditions is, therefore, a great challenge for the photographer, but also for a family with one year old baby.
This trip was an opportunity to celebrate Rey’s first birthday. His first name originated from Reykjavík, the capital of Iceland. It is obvious that this incredible island had a special meaning for this amazing couple. My clients spent their honeymoon in Iceland and upon returning home (US), they had some good news : Rey was on the way.
It was really cold, but we took some breaks to warm up and took the photos on a barrier near Jökulsárlón, where we could see glaciers and black volcanic land, two notable symbols of Iceland.
Couple photo shoot in Brazil
Once a year, I run away from the cold – which I love so much – to find the sun and the warmth of Brazil.
It was in João Pessoa, at 5 amat sunrise, that I met this beautiful couple to do one of the most beautiful sessions I have ever done in Brazil. A dreamy destination with breathtaking views.
In fact, I am French-Brazilian and I often work in both countries. If you dream of a photo shoot in Brazil or abroad, take a look at my agenda or contact me using the form on my website with your project, it will be a pleasure to here from you.
Snowy elopement wedding in Paris
It is not always that we are lucky enough to have snow. Even rarer to have snowy elopement wedding in Paris. But Natali & Ismael were very lucky, the young married couple had a ceremony at the Pont Bir Hakeim with an officiant who prepared a personalized ceremony for this magnificent and snowy day in Paris. It was very moving ! You can see it in the photos!
Nathalia and Allan’s elopement Wedding in Paris
Nathalia and Allan’s elopment wedding in Paris: although I love nature, Paris also has all the great assets. One of the most beautiful cities, Paris is often chosen as the place of celebration of love by my foreign customers. Today I decided to share with you, an elopement with an incredible sunset in the city of lights.
It was going to be a cloudy day. The elopement of Nathalia and Allan was planned to start just before sunset in the gardens around Eiffel Tower. A few minutes before the ceremony, a downpour. We kept hoping that the forecast will surprised us with beautiful sunset.
The best gift was sent to the bride and groom. Perhaps, a gift from the father of the bride who was looking down from the sky, one of her daughter’s happiest days.
Couple photo shoot in Finland
Since my website has been translated into three languages, and also the fact that I love to travel, it has allowed me to do sessions all over the world. This time, a couple photo shoot in Finland!
It was a month of February, it snowed the night before, the chosen scenery became even more beautiful. A few weeks earlier, I talked to Viivi and Kieran about choosing the location. We agreed that the ideal place would be with nature and even better if there was snow. The snow that fell the night before was the icing on the cake!
We met in Lammassaari, a small island hidden-gem in Finland, near Helsinki. This little island had all its charm!
Love session in Switzerland
From a love that started in the Netherlands, they wrote their story in several countries. But it was in Switzerland where they decided to settle down and where I was able to capture their love story.
The session was carried out at the end of the winter of 2019 in Vercorin, a mountain village which was snowy and has beautiful views.
Jessica and Edvaldo’s wedding
Jessica and Edvaldo’s wedding took place in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, a small and beautiful city quite close to Paris. The civil wedding ceremony took place at the Château du Prieuré, a 19th century castle in Conflans with a beautiful architecture and a splendid landscaped park.
Following the civil ceremony, group photos as well as couple photos were taken in the green spaces of the castle.
The wedding of Yannick and Sandra
The wedding of Yannick and Sandra, a bucolic wedding in Cher department in France. Yannick and Sandra now live in Switzerland but they have brought family and friends together in a bucolic and festive setting.
Preparations for the wedding of Yannick and Sandra
The photos began with the preparations for the bride and groom. First of all, the groom prepared himself in a very bright room where I was able to capture classic moments: the shoes, the watch, among others. But certainly, the most original moment was the groom’s tie knot. The groom intended to do it by himself, but with the emotion of the moment, he completely forgot how to do it and ended up looking on YouTube. This moment made us laugh and, at the same time, do original photos!
At the same time, the bride had her hair and makeup done in another room. When it came time to put the dress on, Sandra counted with the help of her sister and witness. My style of wedding photojournalism allowed me to document with a discreet way. The bride’s first look at the mirror, the moment to put her shoes on and the sublime moment to put on the wedding dress. Each moment is precious and unique, the bride and groom are delighted to relive those little moments that they experienced and sometimes did not bring attention, but that I was able to capture this little memories.
The couple session with their little one…
Once the bride was ready, we were able to do the couple session while guests were enjoying the cocktail. Its quite normal in France do the couple session at the same time of the cocktail.
The couple session was in the gardens, a nature touch. I was able to take photos of the couple, but also with their little boy.
Yannick and Sandra’s wedding takes place with great joy
After the couple session, the symbolic ceremony took place. The speeches of parents and witnesses were full of joy and emotion. The newlyweds were very touched and delighted!
Following the ceremony, the traditional group photo, dinner and the opening of the ball, where the guests were able to celebrate this moment of joy with the newlyweds!
Laura & Vincent’s wedding in France
Laura and Vincent’s wedding took place in France more precisely in small city called Bitche, the groom’s birth village. Located in the Mulhouse region, near Strasbourg and border with Germany. It was December when they chose to get married in the area, so it was very cold. But, we were not entitled to the snow.
The preparations for the bride took place late morning / early afternoon. Subsequently, we went to the town hall of Bitche for the civil marriage. During the winter, the day is short and especially in this region. So when we got to the village hall, night fell.
The bride and groom and the guests were able to take out their coats and take advantage of the cocktail to warm up. Before dinner, the bride and groom organized a release of celestial lanterns in heart format. Tradition says it brings happiness! And that’s what I wish all my newlyweds!
Juliana & Rafael’s elopement wedding
Juliana & Rafael’s elopement wedding in Paris : a brazilian couple who decided to come to France. Their ceremony was planned for small group in front of the Eiffel Tower. The celebrant and three guests: the bride’s sister and a couple of friends. As a photographer, I had been in touch with the bride and groom since the beginning. So, I was able to discuss several months in advance with Juliana & Rafael concerning the elopement wedding in Paris.
First, we met at their accommodation address in the center of Paris, where I was able to follow the bridal preparation. Then, once they were ready, we went to the place chosen for the ceremony. Finally, the couple could experience this long-awaited moment. Thus, they were able to relive their beginnings of history, thanks to the very emotional speech of the brazilian celebrant. Subsequently, the bride and groom were able to exchange the rings and enjoy their joy in front of the greatest witness to this celebration: the Eiffel Tower.
The civil wedding of Julien and Catarina in Evry
The civil wedding of Julien and Catarina in Evry, a city close to Paris. This civil wedding ceremony brought together the closest family and a few friends. No church and party planned for the same day. After the civil signature, we went to the park behind the town hall to enjoy the beautiful autumn landscape with some group shots as well as some photos of the newlyweds. A wedding party is planned in the future in the country of the bride : Servia.
Elopement Wedding : Caroline & Eduardo
The elopement of Caroline & Eduardo, a Brazilian couple who opted for a ceremony for two in their dream destination: Paris. Thus, on the occasion of their wedding destination, we captured newlyweds preparations at the hotel. Then, we went to Vincennes to have a medieval and magical setting.
